Glossary of Terms

Truck-Mounted: Quite simply, all the machinery is mounted in the van, and all that enters the permises/home is the quiet cleaning wand. In turn this facilitates a quick and highly efficient service because the bulk of the equipment is outside and far less cumbersome; an important practical issue in certain environments. It also allows Magic-Steam to use higher power, resulting in very clean carpets which are much drier than is normally possible.
Quiet Operation: Only the cleaning wand (and operator) enter the building while the power power source is up to 50 metres away at the end of the hose.
Carpets left much drier than normal: Another advantage of being able to use a more powerful truck-mounted cleaning system. Carrying or moving a power source through the area to be cleaned could be hampered by doorways and other obstacles. Portable systems are likely to be less powerful and be restricted in other ways too.
Cleaning chemicals: Magic-Steam use cleaning chemicals manufactured by Prochem. If you have any questions regarding allergies or environmental issues please contact Magic-Steam for the answers.
Carpet & Fabric Treatments/Protection: As part of the cleaning process, Magic-Steam can treat your carpets or upholstery to resist water or fire damage, or the build-up of static electricity.
